INDY DAWN PATROL CHAMPIONSHIP DILEMMA

Greetings, all:

I have erred. (Hangs head low).

I have failed to book our traditional venue, the Indiana War Memorial, for the annual Indy Sqdn Armistice Day Fits Championship. Lo, it hath been reserved by two other heinous groups in our stead. What are we to do? Our long-scheduled date for the championship is Nov 17th. We can get the Memorial on the 11th - which actually IS Armistice Day - but we have to compete for parking spots with the Veteran's Day Parade and a Colts game. Crowds will be up and parking will be scarce and we will have changed our schedule.

Personally, I am for keeping our current schedule and moving the event to either a) Dory's place or b) another public venue such as a hotel, etc. My schedule is already built around this and so are many of yours. However, this being a democratic group, please weigh in with your vote. Time is essential; the War Memorial is available on Nov 11th RIGHT NOW... no guarantee it will stay that way.

Also, Rick, an idea of where the Indy Sqdn Fund stands would be helpful. We've been lax in collecting in recent games and I have no idea what monies are available.

Please voice your opinion before Monday at the very latest! Thanks, and I apologize for not getting us the Memorial in time.
